Afterwards, while Josh was on his bike ride, I went to the gym and we met back at home for lunch. This afternoon it was time to catch up on some admin. and bill paying before I had to collect the kids from school.
Charlotte and Olivia had their weekly piano lesson today and Avery, who opted out of a nap, played sweetly.
Next thing you know, it's time for dinner. One thing I've noticed since we've been in Italy is that we don't think anything of opening up a bottle of wine for dinner each night... and it's not difficult between the two of us to finish it. Particulary, a nice Valpolecella or a Sangiovese, or a Dolcetto D'Alba, or even a clean white varietal. Our tolerance must have increased since our arrival, because it doesn't really feel like we've had a bottle of wine. Still, that's only three glasses of wine per person each night and that's not excessive, right? Especially in Italy!
It's hard to believe it's December already. Charlotte said it doesn't seem like it because it's not cold and snowy. And that suits me just fine.
