Charlotte’s ear does not seem to be getting better. In addition to the ear drops, she has been taking ibuprofen to help manage the pain. If she is not better by tomorrow she will need to be seen by a doctor.
We didn’t know what we wanted to do. Charlotte wanted to stay home today. We ended up inviting our friend, Alessia, over for lunch with her daughter Vittoria –Avery’s little friend from school.
At first, Avery didn’t want to sit next to her and he was being shy. Later they played together on the raft in the pool – it was adorable. We were sorry we had to cut it short but we’d organized the babysitter for 4:30pm, so Josh and I could go for a walk on the beach alone. As they were leaving, Avery stood naked on the landing of the stairs and asked Vittoria if she wanted to borrow a toy from him. Sweet!
We made it to Giannella by 6pm…we then stopped in Orbetello on the way to Alessia’s place in Ansedonia. Ansedonia is the high-end neighborhood of the Argentario. It’s filled with gorgeous, Mediterranean style homes set into a cliff along the coast – this is some of the most expensive real-estate in the area.
We enjoyed a spritz at Alessia's club while watching the sun set over the water. The view of the whole of the Argentario was spectacular. When we returned to our villa, the girls were having fun at the German’s place watching Ice Age 3.
